A Hartung Lot came in for September 2011...

I found this little group of Hartung animals, a German brand to i believe...


The 3 items together.


Hartung Reticulated Giraffecalf, although with horns, it looks like an adult in the 1:32 scale.
The seams on this model are very bad.


Hartung Emperorpenguin chick.


Here together with the Schleich and Safari Emperorpenguin chicks.


Hartung Pink Flamingo.


Here together with the Safari, and 2 Bullyland models to compare.

I agree, your new one is gorgeous - I also like the Bullyland one, even though the grass support is a bit funny.

I also go for Hartung if I can find them at reasonable price. Many of the figueres are a bit primitive, but awfully charming

It is true, that you don't see them often indeed, and i must admitt, that i only knew about this brand, because Torben had them on his website...
I couldn't find any decent information about this brand either to be honest...
I found a Hong Kong company that makes toys, named Hartung, but if it is the same company, i have my doubts about that...
And a Hartung compnay that makes wooden toys, so that is another one to i believe...
I hope you get some more information soon...

I don`t quite remember, but I saw somewhere a long time ago, that there was a German manufacturer. In one of the larg German cities
Those figueres were very fine.

There are some newer ones that are not so well made.
Perhaps the Hong Cong compagny took over and are not som careful in their production as the old, German one

If it would just stop raining for a couple of hours tomorrow, I will take some pictures of what I mean

No, the Hong Kong company doesn't sell animal models as i found out, so it will be German then i guess...

So I was happy when I got this awfully beautyful little Farm lady in a lot of Bullylands.
They are both made from very heavy and solid plastic, - I would say they are good quality


So I was very pleased when I won three more Hartungs :

That lioness could really go under the subject "so ugly that..." Except that I don`t really love her awfully much - yet
Better with the male. At least you can`t see that his head is glued on, onless you look very closely

Something definitely happened to Hartung, even if they are still called Hartung Spiele Berlin.

Yeah Susanne, my giraffe has the same ugly seams on the model...
The site you gave here, is the one i found to, but i am not sure if it is the manufacturer that made these models, because there is no wildlife or something like that on the site...
