Well, the only thing I dislike about this puzzle is that it's extremely breakable. And every time I place it on the shelf I fear it would fall down and break:(

There are several animal species that chnage in sex through the years or for other reasons, and the other sex will accept the other then... scratch

glad you like him, its supposed to be a great horned owl- hes hunting a chipmonk,[at the zoo they used to hunt racoons coming out the dumpsters at night in very noisy violent fights!] -- they tend to be more colourful than the european eagle owls.

Yes, you're right it has to be a great Horned owl, they're quite similar to an Eagle owl but comparing pictures I can see it isn't now Laughing

Unfortunatley Famemaster has discontinued selling models in Canada FOR DEFINATE and I have been told by former stockists I bought from in the last year or so , most of the collection , in the USA too, I dont know why but guess that its due to small pieces.Canada's also had big crackdown in lead levels in kids toys in the paint- many companies wont sell toys there they can sell in the states.
Its a shame as the macaw and toucan look spectacular with my Wildlife Wonders Scale animal collection, and the smaller puzzles had some great figures too!
Harriets owl was the last one in the shop!Now sadly extinct in Canada!
