In this 1958 catalogue, we see much of our well known models back, enjoy!
By the way, the 3 last pages are very vage, i can't help it, sorry for that.

Doesnt lineol always have a mark under their animals?

The hyena I recently bought looks exactly like the one in the fifth pic (the walking one), but my hyena doesnt have a mark
on it scratch

Is it a lineol, but without mark, or is it a copy?
(I know it´s old, and its composition)

Most of the smaller Lineol post-war animals have no marking. Here are a few which are unmarked.

No thanks guys, for your pleasure and knowledge only!
Yes Sergey, the company Marolin bought the most of the Lineol moulds when they took over the Lineol company, after that, the DDR(or GDR if you want) gouvernment made it a state company, a so called company of the people( Mad ), which was called the VEB Plaho, were they used these moulds again indeed, often slightly changed... Wonderful catalogue!

Why did they put some of their horses and cows on a base with wheels. e.g. the Draft horses in harness?

Does it say in the catalogue what their sizes are...that ratio thing...1:25, 1:20.... scratch

So that they can pull the carts and wagons they are sold with (hitched-to) elsewhere in the catalogues, and the child can move them easily over floors and carpets like the tin-plate or wooden cars or trains they were also buying at the time.
