I remember e-mails exchanged with Roger a while ago about me wanting to buy a good hippo with closed mouth, as it turns out I was not the only one. Papo offered excellent hippo, Safari also has beautiful, (for someone) oversized WW specimen, but I wanted to find an animal with closed mouth. That's probably not a big deal for someone who lives in Germany and visits flea markets or who can just buy the retired Schleich grazing hippo female on e-bay(that's also getting harder and harder), but for the rest of us there's just not much to choose from.

Well, things are about to be changed very soon Very Happy

I received these pictures few weeks ago and I was delighted to see them, finally we'll have a chance to find what we want cheers

Beautiful female hippo with gorgeous head, good body balance, proportions, wonderful expression and colour has joined the Mojo Fun team for 2012. They even got the "hippo sweat" colour right cheers

Thanks for posting, Robert! :) I also love a lot the Lady Hippo, even the texture is very good! Very Happy

Mojo is listening to us in this forum, I'm not kidding, that's the truth, of course it was missing a hippo in Mojo range and I'm sure the original project was different. I hope this figure has a lucky life because it means that what is good for collectors is also for all brands. cheers

What a beautiful girl! I normally don't collect figures by brands, but Mojo is getting more and more figures that I want for my shelves if not the diorama.
