| I do have a CA (Collectors Acredibility) and a AM (Animal Madness) in Willylogicoly, and i survive with that... Next to that, i think that i know better then anybody here, what an addiction is, as i do smoke and drink for almost 35 years, i used all kind of drugs (just for pleasure and without addiction), i collect things(specially animal models) since i was 6 years old, and i gambled, since i was working in the gambling-industry for almost 20 years... Nothing was satisfying like my collecting, as i had really something for the money, and something to look at..... It depends on what you want to collect..., and what are your boundaries... If you are only collecting one brand like Schleich, you can see the light of the tunnel, and when you reached that, are you happy then? Now that is the question!!! This means there is always to search for untill the day i die.... Always a day of joy, as long as those packages come in, it doesn't matter if there is a cheap Hong Kong figurine, or an expensive Lineol coming in it.... An addiction is a thing, what you can't leave for a day or more... Last weekend my girlfriend was there for almost 3 days, and i didn't see e-bay or the internet for those days, even when i had so many important biddings going on there.... There are more important things in live indeed! (my one and only queen!) My only one and true addiction.... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Thank you guys! Yes my woman is a stunning girl/woman to look at, and a wonderfull sweet person too! When she smiles, she makes me melt... Susanne, her name is Milangela, but in normal life her name is shortened to Mila. Actually she has 4 names, but those are her birth names, like more of us have i suppose. But i have to admitt, that those Dutch Antillian people use their imagination to find some original names for their children. Cute is not the word Gabe, she is much more than that! I am a happy guy, with a woman like that in my life, and next to that some nice hobby's too! _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

The first sable antelope is a STARLUX, IMHO the rarest one. It is a nearly 1/32 model made in very hard plastic. Willy has got one and not me The second sable is the Lineol of course |

| Well, I think collecting can become a truly madness. But I hope it will never happen to me!
I don´t think I´m obsessed... I only collect Schleich horses. Not fairy horses, neither riding sets. Just horses. I started buying Papo and Safari too, but I realized I didn´t like them as much as Schleich, and stopped buying them. Now I only bought these brands if I see one horse I really like. About Schleich, I have nearly all, but not all of them. I sometimes look for missing models in internet (ebay or similar), but I don´t buy them unless they are not very expensive. If I found it cheaper later, then I buy it, if not, I wait for better opportunity. The same with color variations. I wanted the linebacked fjord (mine was not linebacked) and the appaloosa with the big blankett (the newest one, mine has the small blanket) since a long time ago, and finally I found them really cheap and in good conditions. Now I´m waiting their arrival :)
I like collecting them, but before I buy a horse I decide what and when :) _________________ Visit my collection gallery at http://sylobe.deviantart.com/gallery/26714361
