Apatosaurus 16462

Here is my newest Replicasaurus addition that I only received yesterday, the Apatosaurus 16462 which I never thought I will collect in the end. Because of it's size, I had a second thought from buying this figure before due to the expensive S&H charges I am going to pay. But I think I paid a quite reasonable S&H charge of 22 Euros with this huge figure together with the four Elves and the two Papo figures. And I am happy that finally I have this figure added into my collections.




Here are some of the photos of the Apatosaurus 16462. When I go back to the Philippines again, I will update the photos of this gentle giant together with its predecessor and some other Replicasaurus.

Love it. Thanks for the photos and congratulations on getting such a great GIANT. I never knew how big they were until I started getting some of the dinosaurs.

In fact, he is gorgeous when you look to him closely. And you won't see the actual beauty in him in the catalog and other picture only.

I am not very sure although I think the new version Schleich Brachiosaurus is a bit taller but this Apatosaurus is heavier? But seriously, I am not very sure since I don't have my other Brachisaurus with me now.

Just step on the scale holding him/her and then weigh yourself without him/her. Subtract - etc. Take a ruler and measure height and length - Inches vs cm would be appreciated...(I am in the USA) though I do know what a meter is.

Since you asked, he weighs approximately 2 lbs and measured 19 inches from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail and the height is 8.5 inches from the ground to the tip of the head. Body thickness is 3.5 inches. :)

I think the Brachiosaurus 16458 is still taller but this Apatosaurus 16462 is more massive.

This will give you an idea of the size of the dinosaurs. Notice the giraffe family at the other end of the shelf and the cows under them.

You're welcome Sue. I figured pictures can show a lot. That is just a small portion of my collection. Hopefully soon I will have all of them on display.

I remember some photos with the knights,but they had few space available!

I think your collection is one of my favourites!

The knights will come soon, I hope. I am planning on setting up a castle display with the knights. I already have it figured out where they will go, but gotta finish my building first. Hopefully the sheetrock will be up by the end of the month, then carpet and I move in.

Like you, collecting Dinos are not in my priorities either. Just collect them if I have a chance to get them. My most favorite is still the wildlife.

They must be 40 cms or even more...
I had the T-Rex in the middle before, and he was big too!
