| I love the old sheep and goats from Papo ! So of course I was extremely curious to see what the newer ones look like, an at last I decided to get them . SHEEP[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The sheep has a different colour from the rest. I wonder if Papo is going to change the colouring of them all Aaaargh, Papo is a nightmare for collectors of variants, - or a dream, depending how you see it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here are the old ones for comparison : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They are just so incredibly charming, I think ! Together : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]GOATSHere the newer goats, I think they are just great [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The old ones [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The bucks together, quite different breeds, aren`t they ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the 3 nanny-goats. I think the oldest one in the middle is the cutest goat ever [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Oh I LOVE the new goats!! The male in particular congratulations Susanne, the sheep are also nice, the old ones were very stylised, but fantastic Could you share a picture of the male new goat from side view? If it's not too much trouble _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

Thank you thank you! Yes they have, they captured the goat look perfectly the style of this goat reminds me of Lineol, does it you? Especially the face and the way it's painted. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Beautiful Papo farm, Susanne! I also agree that Papo is getting inspiration in vintage figures. Almost every new Papo browsers have that shape in the thumy, we only can see it with the figures in our hands. This kind of things makes all the difference. And not perfectly rounded as we see sometimes in other figures but with a more sculpted shape. |

| I am so happy with all your kind comments about my my flock , friends, that I can almost fly (But very very almost, - as you know I am very fond of chocolate ) I was afraid everybody else think they are horrible - Kikimalou wrote:
I'm still in love with the older Boer goat
Yes ! Yes ! Of course he is a boer goat !!!!! Thankyou, how silly of me not to realise it ! He is just a little darker than the ones we see here in Europe A bit like this guy, only not as fat [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I also think he is wonderful Harriet : I don`t know very much about lineol, but you are right, rhere is some almost old-fashioned charm over many Papos, that I like extremely well Perhaps that is also why I like Bullyland and the older Schleich so much Thankyou again, friends, - phewh! what a relief that I am not the only one who like them |

| Papo's Ewe is one of the best, IMHO. I love her. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]from photos, it looks like her baby isn't quite up to her level, which must be why i haven't gotten him yet. It can't be because i am a lazy collector! And i still need to find the old ram. The old Papo sheep are among my favorites because i cannot look at them without laughing! That little lamb might be the most confused animal in history! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ carolynn
