| I really like the shape of the whales body tails and fins, but I agree with Ken Yeo that this shark looks too cute! I do not find it scary and it almost looks like it smiling. "Perhaps it is smiling before it eats it next seal or human swimming in the ocean. |

| Thanks for posting Egbert! I know you love hsarks! Interesting suggestions again and interesting work Ken! Martin, Ken changed the shading, you can see around the dorsal fin a darker colouring and also behind the eye a lighter grey, I guess! I think it is to give a less solide colour to the animal. I like it! :) We need a classic picture of a shark, in a side view but seeing the ventral part. :) |

| Sharks only have two expressions, smiling... :) ...or laughing! They lived for a very long time fighting against mass extinctions but I'm afraid humans will make them cry! |

| I hope some day Roger that man loses the need to kill everything he is afraid of! Sharks suffer some of the worst outrages, especially from the Asia regions where they are in huge demand for Shark Fin soup! The sharks are caught in nets, stripped of their fins and then thrown back in the Sea alive, where they drowned! Personally I admire and respect these magnificent predators, like Crocodiles they are almost perfect in terms of evolution and have remained much as they are for thousands of years. Perhaps one of the reason's that Mojo tries not to depict predators such as the Hyena, Lion, Shark etc., as vicious and ferocious is because this just perpetuates man's fear of these animals and so in some small way could also hasten their end. We all know that Hyena's and other such animals need to kill to live but there is no need to make people in general think that this is all they are about. They all have a much gentler side, also if you look hard enough most animals have a particular movement or gesture that make you recognize something about that species in the figure. So really their is no need to show every predator with teeth showing and claws out I for one hope that Mojo will not only consider the collectors and consumer but also take time to consider the animal itself, i think they have a responsibility to do this. Sorry for my rant! But i feel better now! |

| Egbert, great great comment! I love the serenety of Mojo hunters, I'm a big fan of Mojo hyena and lion as everybody knows here! All animals are graceful and should be respected, of course! :) But more than the wonderful Mojo figures, I love Mojo philosophy!!! |

| Hear, hear, Egbert!
I like that Mojo thinks beyond stereotypes. Some companies seem to think that every hippo is yawning, every elephant is trumpeting, every mustang is rearing, and every okapi has its tongue in its ear. _________________ carolynn

| Nice white shark! Maybe he has some little flaws, but he is quit ok... Susanne, you would not even like to know where white sharks do live, in most cold waters around the world. They are often seen around our countries, and there are lots of them in the Mediterranean, as there are seals, dolphins and whales to feed on! The teeth are big indeed Vivian, but just look at those of the extinct Megalodon, the ancestor of the white shark, and start thinking how big he was... Only one tooth of an adult Megalodon... Scale comparison Here you can see, that the Megalodon could easily eat white sharks for breakfast... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
