At first I was going to say "My Bullyland horses", but then remembered that not only Bullyland horses are there in my collection.:) So here are my figurines from that manufacturer. A Clydesdale gelding. He's my favourite among the Clydesdales I have now. I like his color, and his head as well- it's very typical. Two ponies- Lewitzer and a Norwegian Fjord. Both are mares, and both are very, very cute. A Hanoverian foal. Like her pose greatly. And yesterday I got a 2011 Icelandic horse. He's rather strange, I think, but, anyway, better than the old mold. There's a funny thing- I get an Icelandic horse from almost every manufacturer I see, even though it's not that great. This breed is a kind of 'must have' now. And two birds of prey the one from the left side

Oh, congrats Daria! :) I like Iceys, don't you think the Papo Icelandic is nice??? I love it but maybe because I don't understand nothing of horses. I also like the last retired from Schleich. :) Congratulations also for your birds, I like Bully birds! :)

WOW ! You have some of the most fantastic models, Bullyland has made The Fjord Mare is in my opinion the best Fjord that was ever made, - and the Lewizer is one of my absolute favourites also. Unfortunately I don`t have the Clydesdale, he is at the top of my wishlist, and moved a good jump up, now that I saw your great photo As Roger says, Bullyland makes marvellous birds, - the Pergrine falcon is so great, that Schleich has made one almost similar for next year About the Iceys, yes, isn`t it great that so many brands have them now, - Papo, Safari, Bullyland and next year Schleich will have them again I wonder if Breyer will ever make one I agree that the new Bullyland icey is strange as a riding horse, - some Iceys did have such a heavy neck in the old days, they were the type used for farm work. The old Icey from Bullyland was more the riding type, but still a very old fashioned one from the time where many Iceys were no more than 1,25 - 1,30 high over the shoulder. Hmmm, but still he is a bit too cute to be realistic, even if he has a very heavy winter coat The last 20 years or so many Iceys have been bred to approach the magic 1,50 cm, which strangely enough makes them less strong and persevering

Congratulations also for your birds, I like Bully birds! :) Thanks) So do I. Bullyland makes great birds of prey. And yes, I do like the Papo Icey (thanks to Susanne and her great pics that made me buy this figurine) , she's really cute. SUSANNEYes, you're right, his neck is like the work horse's one. Anyway, I think I like him. As for Breyer- they've made a porcelain one several years ago. Here it is: As far as I know this figurine is rather rare now- and quite expensive. KiryuhaYes, they are available in some shops now HKHollinstone, widukindThanks) |

... strictly speaking, the new Icey's neck is a "sculptor has no idea what shape a horse's neck is supposed to be"-neck. Zero muscle and it's practically the same thickness where it meets the head as it is at the shoulder. It's funny, Bullyland generally did anatomy and biomechanics quite well. The other horses are great though, and you know how I feel about their birds...

I have a tradition- to bring some equine from every trip I have:) And it seems my father decided to share this tradition So here's a Bullyland Andalusian with a rider (dressage), from France. I'm not a big fan of Bullyland horses, but it seems I may become a fan of its people Just look at her face.

Finally got two MPV LE figures with the help of Yvette. Here they are: Il Santo (2011) & Don Johnson (2012), Bullyland, MPV LE sculptured by B.Eberl. I like the fact that Bullyland ordered completely new molds from B.Eberl instead of using the old ones for their LE's, like Schleich did. Maybe they aren't as detailed, as the resin ones, but they are interesting and unique in some way. Glad I have them now. Il Santo, signed by I.Werth, the horse's owner. Comes with the Certificate of the Authenticity He's made from some fabric, different from that the other Bullylands are being made. It reminds me.. foam plastic, I think? Don Johnson. Comes with the Certificate of the Authenticity I like his moving- very impressive.
