that is too cute..my mom wont let me take my horses inside not even the minis,she would flip if she seen a bison! Laughing

....but I kinda think its funny they called a American bison a buffalo.... Shocked

I also want one,humm...maybe we can all go in on one and get it for a forum mascot! What a Face

Gosh, he must have had that bison from it was a new borne calf, - I thought they were extremely dangerous , - and he has TRAINED the lovely critter affraid

yes, the article said the mother died in birth, so he has bottle raised him from a baby. He's not an adult yet, so i hope he doesn't get unfriendly when he matures. i would hope he's been altered... i can't imagine an unaltered male wild bull makes a good house pet! but this is not this man's first pet bison, so i guess he knows what he's doing.

awww! :)

Last summer I went to a farm to pick blueberries and the man had some baby bison. They really were cute! He had some longhorns, too! I don't think you could take them in a bar though!

O my I saw this on a show called fatal attractions, they have Bailey because they used to have 400 or something and over the years they were dying from dieseases and Bailey was the last one left. He also saddles Bailey and rides him like a horse, also Bailey is allowed to come inside their home Very Happy

( the buffaloes name is Bailey )

The guy around the corner from me has a herd, there are 15 right now, He sometimes sells the meat and skins, I am trying to get him to sell me some of the horns so I can make a pen out of them.

He also shears them in the summer and sells the undercoat for yarn, it is one of the finest hairs available, very similar to the undercoat of musk ox.
