PostSubject: Hummingbird Hawk Moth   Hummingbird Hawk Moth EmptySat 24 Jul 2010, 08:29

I was out in the garden with my camera and I saw this beautiful hummingbird hawk moth, it's the first time I've ever seen one. It looks just like a bird, incredible creature. Because it was really hard taking photos, as it was moving fast and zooming to the next flower, the pictures are quite big, here they are on my blog [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] hope you enjoy them

Thanks Phil Very Happy Aren't they beautiful to watch WH, they're so like the humming birds. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, I guess they turned out quite well considering how fast it was.

Great photos. I had a couple that came last year and I took some photos of them. They are amazing creatures. I thought mine were hummingbirds at first, but soon found out the were moths.

Thanks Amy, I know they have a little face like a bird and a tail! It's just amazing, I hope I see it again.
