| Last week, Ana send me a wonderful drill figure I asked her to do. Some could see Ana's pics on LG. Here are my pics of this pure jewel. About Ana's talent and skills, the Drill easily explain everything... Now, at last, here you can see how tiny but how fine is this animal. Scale 1/22 to fit with the Schleich humans. Ana, thank you very much for this beautiful critter One more pic with the Starlux mandrill which is for me still a very good lesson for modern manufacturers

| I am so jelous, that is one of my favorite monkeys. You are so lucky, and I am glad just to see the photos of him. He seems to me to be perfect. I have said this before, and I truely believe it, but for me all animal figures are compared to her sculptures when I decide to buy a model. For me she is the standard and if I like a species, if it is in the correct scale, but doesn't match up to the quality of hers I will have her make it instead of buying the brand name. Right now she is working on a special set of pieces, that will fit together as a mini scene inside the diorama, I am at odds as to when to reveal the animals that will be made until she has at least come close to finishing but believe me it will be something to see, and there is nothing like it made by any of the toy animal makers. I got the idea, I sent her some drawing of poses and then some photos of what I was looking for and we decided on the final sculpture. Each piece will stand alone if I want, but the combined pieces will be how they will fit on the diorama. In fact the extension of the diorama was decided so I have a place to showcase the new animals, they will be the center piece for the extension.
I don't want to hijack this thred, so in the very near future I will start one on the new pieces. |

| Thank you all Yes Ana is very talented and her skills grows every time. She is like Mary Poppins for an old child like me, she makes my dreams come true. I have several mandrill in many scales, many material and from several periods. I dreamed of a Drill, sometimes thinking about repainting a mandrill... But in my mind it would only be a fake. Now I've got this wonderful animal in my jungle, a real Drill. Cheers I hope Ana will find enough time in the future to bring more unusual creatures to life for me... and for you too of course |

| That is quite simply, the finest model of this wonderful creature that I have ever seen. Ana is already a genius as both a craftsperson and an artist. |

Susanne, I have just about 25 figures from Ana now and I feel the same, the first ones she sent me, a group of antelope, are beautiful and such great models that they make my diorama come to life. They are some of my favorites figures and I keep them on a shelf in my room as a center piece to my display because of sentimental value but her skill has improved so that when I see the newer ones she has done I feel like they are alive and she has figured out a way to shrink them and make Bonsai animals!!! Pure truth... Lucky Phil |

| The shrinking technique is new to me, i would like to hear more about that. That could be very usefull to make smaller models like birds i guess... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

That could be very usefull to make smaller models like birds i guess... Willy, I was being funny, as far as I know there is no way to make something smaller except for skill and talent. I know there is a machine that makes 3-D sculptures from a computer, you just put in the scale you want and a photo of the piece to be sculpted and it does all of the work, the problem is cost, this machine is hundreds of thousands of dollars at this point, but maybe someday in the future.
