Hello friends here is a realization that I shot my 2010 calendar SOUTH AMERICA hunting party maned wolf Ralf inspired after seeing his forum I came to love wolves, I am get from tapir back chop narrowly because it is more.

They are so cute and less severe than the chimpanzee.

Hi Luke!
They are the Golden Snub-Nose Monkees(Rhinopithecus roxellana), and a species from a genera of monkees from East-Asia, mainly Vietnam and the South of China in different species.
All of the species are quit rare, and not often kept in zoo's, and some of the species are discovered just shortly ago.
I guess, you google the Latin name, and you will find information about them.

By the way, lovely calendar pics again, i often wonder how you make them...

Lovely old fashioned photos!I realy think we collectors can bring the Quagga back to life in our own ways!

You know Ralf, that i really love your quagga and other zebra-variant!
But i found a mistake in your re-paint...
The quagga had a completely white tail....

Thank you Willy for the hint, unfortunately I have not seen a Quagga in real life . So I am to be geared by pictures on the Internet and books. There are some images quaggas with white and a little darker tails. And the coat color / pattern varies very strongly as you can see well in the few museum specimens. Perhaps it was also different for some individual animals, such for example at the stripes the zebras too? Who knows??

It doesn't matter Ralf, and as you said, in zebra's is soo much variation, so why not in the tail.

Yes Luke, I work with the colors "Decormatt Acryl" by Marabu. With these colors so far I have made very good experiences.
And I also admire your always great pictures, thank you for it.

So here's one of my favorite pieces, the Giant anteater repainted from a Made in China figurine. I love this model and the animal .

Ground colour painted:
