Mojo 2012 - humpback whale

Hello friends!
I'm prud to show you the new Mojo's humpback whale. It will be a big figure but not so big as Schleich ones, it measure 26cm and will be cheaper than the Schleich one for sure (maybe less that 10€??? )
All sea life Mojo models are in relative scale, that means that larger animals in real life will have larger replicas but not exactly in a correct proportion.

OMG,I think I have to start collecting sea life!! It would be great if the Mojo sea life figures
won't be as expensive as Schleich's and not so big.(because that are some reasons why I didn't collect sea life so far )

nice figurine, but the pose is boring.

A very nice figure, longer than Schleich's, which is a good thing, love the mouth, but a calf would also be nice. In addition the pose is a little safe and predictable, but it is still an amazing first try!

He (or she) is gorgeous! Is it the same size as their orca or is it bigger?

No doubt this is an animal lots of children like, - but hopefully our friends from Mojo have seen the wonderful pictures that Orcagirl has shown, so we may see some other species than the usual ones

I hope Mojo will use this rule to make a BIG Blue whale one day

I hate to say this but honestly Mojo should just come up with their own design, it looks like a down grade schleich. I agree with someone on here that the pose is rather boring.

Although I dont want to be negative, it still is nice.

Thanks Joan for posting this wonderful humpback whale, it represents a nice chance to people like me, I mean, that has not a lot of money, starting to collect sea life! :)
That's a fantastic animal, its acrobatic style of life is not indeed represented in the figure, could someone show me some examples of interesting poses in other brands? It would be interesting, I think I know what you mean! :)

Susanne, no doubt Mojo is taking seriously its sea life series, Schleich almost descontinued its range due to the obsession of top50 toy brands, famous and apreciated Safari is launching only a sea life figure for 2012 and only CollectA and Mojo are bidding in it. I don't know about Bullyland and Papo but I'm not expecting nothing from them.
In 2011 Mojo released a clown fish and a grey seal and now is already presenting for 2012 a orca, a humpback whale, a reat white shark, a bottlenosed dolphin and is still missing another sea life figure. So, Mojo is thinking in who loves sea life but it is only the second year of the brand and it needs to consolidate their range with more usual species. Surely, if the brand goes well with that series, unusual species will appear.

Kevin, it is a downgrade Schleich in price, size and mistakes! I don't need to be an expert in wild life to see that this figure is more accurate than the Schleich which one I know very well.
About Mojo having its own design, I don't know what is it? Isn't the Schleich 2012 pelican more similar to Papo 2011 pelican, or even the Safari barn owl and sable a kind of lac of own design, or the CollectA beluga also more close to the AAA? What is own design when all brands made hyenas in almost the same pose and Mojo presented one completly different? Or the Mojo lion, etc., etc., I don't want to defeat the brand since all brands are important for me! Anyway I apreciated the gentle way you've commented. :)
