beautiful surprise Christmas sheep!!!!!!!!

a few days ago, I was surprised to receive a small but deliciously lumpy envelope from Germany, containing two of the most wonderful darling ewes and their precious little lambs from wonderful generous kind Andreas:

i assume these are GDR sheep? they are so exquisitely detailed that it took me several attempts to get photos that do them any justice. (It is very hard to take photos of somewhat shiny white figures! They just look like white lumps if you're not lucky!)

and of course, as happy as i would be to have such great sheep figures in my flock under any circumstances, they are infinitely even more valuable, coming from a generous thoughtful friend!
