| Hi I do not have a large collection of figures...a handful of both birds and deer/antelopes. I would not ideally buy more than one figure of each animal but I would appreciate any advice on the figures below. I have: Papo Tiger Papo Leopard Collecta Snow Leopard On order are: Mojo Lion Papo Jaguar I will definatley buy the Mojo Iberian Lynx and probably the Collecta Lynx. I am not sure between the Papo Jaguar or the Schleich one...? I am after a Panther and thinking Mojo because it will be a different pose? Really hope Mojo make a Clouded Leopard for 2013!! Is there a better Snow Leopard? Thanks for any comments :) |

| IMHO, the SCHLEICH jaguar is better than the PAPO. The PAPO is a beautiful animal but not exactly a jaguar, too small head, to long tail... You also may consider buying the PAPO lioness with cub, it's a masterpiece. The same for the PAPO tigress with cub I will buy the Mojo black panther because the pose is very nice. About snow leopard, we are still waiting for a stunning one Don't forget the PAPO cheetah, I think it is still the best on the market. |

| Exactly the same opinion as Christophe, only don't forget the Papo lioness (without cub), that's a fantastic figure! :) Once you are also thinking in smaller cats you can also pick the Safari bobcat, not outstanding but it is the only among main brands! We still don't have a great puma, I use the Papo in my collection but who knows someone will make a better next year! |

| Almost same opinion like Chris: the Papo jaguar has a beautiful body, but with a small head.
The Papo lioness, lioness with cub & tigress with cub are really masterpieces.
The Mojo black panther has a good pose.

Don't forget the PAPO cheetah, I think it is still the best on the market. Hi Kikimalou I think i've spoken to you before on the dino toy forum...I'm Baryonyxraptor...haven't been on that forum for a long time though... I spent a long time yesterday looking at a picture of a real Jaguar, a picture of the Papo and one of the Schleich...the Schleich did seem most acurate. As other people have said the Papo's head is too small and i thought the body was too thin/ legs too long. Who wants a Papo jaguar?...I have one for sale. If Ana would like to sell me her Snow Leopard or create me one then I would have no concern there!! Need a Cheetah but haven't looked into them yet...I'll check Papo's first Thanks a lot |

We still don't have a great puma, I use the Papo in my collection but who knows someone will make a better next year! I thought only Papo did a Puma? Safari Bobcat :) ...do you know how that comes up scale wise with the others?...I'd be keen if he/ she roughly fits. Thanks |

Thanks From the main brands you also have the Safari puma, they call it mountain lion that is the same animal. There are also others, retired from Schleich and Bullyland and a cub. Other less known brands also have pumas, maybe the Colorata is one of the most spectacular! :) These cats are not really in scale and the Safari bobcat is a little large, the Playvisions is smaller, you can see both in this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] mad by Christophe (Kikimalou]. You can also search them googling or in the forum. If you want to see a specific picture please feel free to ask. |

The Lioness with or withought the cub?? I personaly like the Lioness with Cub a lot. Thanks _________________ More pictures of my Collection... Colorata if I remember is hard to buy (especially singly) and also probably not the scale i'm after...am I being too fussy?? But do stunning figures! I like the Safari Puma/ Mountain Lion more than the Papo! Much appreciated |

| I would stay away from the Papo Puma and hope for a good one to come along...it is small... Up close head shot... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Schleich Westie to show size... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As you can see the head is very small in comparison to the body ~ and the eyes are rather strange... I haven't held the Safari Ltd one in my hands so don't know about it. Looks like you've made some great choices with the Papo tigress with cub and Lioness with cub.

Thanks As Christophe said both are lovely figurines and are must haves. The lioness without the cub is my favourite, but they are both beautiful. I recognised your profile photo from Dino toy forum, you posted it in the antelope section didn't you. It was seeing that picture that made me want the Schleich red deer even more Thank you, I'm glad you like my work! _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

Much appreciated Yes, Colorata is hard to find, I don't have none of the cats of the brand. They are relatively small but smaller species work nicely with modern brands. But they are in a completly different style so not probably what you are searching. As I said, ther's no nice puma in the market, I use Papo because it is selling here in my country while the Safari I only know from pictures. The Safari puma looks a interesting figure but as Robert said, it only works nicely repainted by Harriet, Safari is not very good with the painting of this kind of figures. Who knows, seeing it in real life I'll like it more than Papo. The Schleich puma doesn't look a puma even it is not ugly and the Bullyland has a terrible face! We need a new puma! |

| Thought I'd post my collection so far on here seeing as my jaguar arrived today and I've retaken my pictures for collectors quest. I have pictures on there comparing the lengths and heights of the cats...if anyone wants to know I can post them too...I like to know the size before I choose to buy or not.
pics are further down
