Here are the wonderful old safari I bought from "buaknallen", as I posted in another topic. I love the old style of safari, especially their farm animals. not always very accurat, and sometimes not even goodlooking, but oh, soo charming an old jersey with calf. Very charming from the side, but very wierd-looking from the front [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A little clydesdale(?) foal. I have it´s mum thanx to Willy, do now they are reunited again [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A realy cool sheep family. I love these, they have a kind of an old feeling about them, and they feel more real than many of the newer, all white sheep (like the schleich ones) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Vanishing Wild polar bear family. The mother and baby are made of what seems to be the regular plastic that safari uses, but the standing male is made of a much softer material, more like rubber [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The two authentic-sets. What is the differens between the old and new versions of this serie? only the color? And when was the newer version produced? Is it still produced? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The wonderful Monterey bay. You cant see it in the pic, but the hammerhead and the grey whale calf has the most wonderful colors. They are painted in a way that you dont see now aday, and they looks truly amazing I hope I can find the rest of the serie one day [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the two little seaotters. Realy cute and very small, as you can see in the second pic [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And lastly, the carnegie Australopithecus man. I dont realy collect humans, and I´m thinking about maybe trading this one, but I havent decided yet. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Thants all of them Enjoy

As I already told in other topics, I really enjoy seeing Safari retired figures! :) Maybe because we find easily pictures of old Schleich and not about old Safari. It means that these are probably rarer and hard to find, only the brand is less known in Europe. :) Congratulations for your new additions!

Thanx guys @Roger: Yes, I also rarely see old safari. And one problem is, that when you finaly find some, sometimes you dont recognise them as safari and dont buy them. The cows and sheep I have never seen befor, and I didnt know they were safari for sure until I got them. With schleich it´s different, as you have seen almost every schleich ever produced, eather here or in the gasher, so it´s easier to find them when you know how they look like. @Wildheart; At the same place where I found the rest, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] They send to most countries, but I think the shipping is pretty expensive @Susanne; Yes they have a special charm But I still think the jerseys looks best from the side
