| We have not seen this species yet, I think The farmers are funny, really well made. They replace the reasonably modern farmers, while at least in Denmark the new couple remind me more of a long lost time, perhaps 50 years ago ( Except the wife`s slacks and clogs, of course ) I imagine the little girl visiting her grandparents, and they keep rabbits for her. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And - WOW ! Schleich figures from the Farm-series, where the backside is also is full of detail [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The children, - The boy in the middle certainly belongs in the farm also, while I don`t really know where the others belong, - perhaps they are scoolfrinds from the city ? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is the 3rd grandchild, she has found a horse, so her little sister`s rabbit doesn`t get the carrot today [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Yes, these little models should be a success with children. They even trigger the imagination of ME

| Fabulous Susanne! I have never been much interested in the people figures (except for "girl pushing wheelbarrow", cause that's ME), but this year I may have to add a few to my collection. I really like the farmer carrying the pig. :)

| They look incredibly well made! Well, except for the colours on girls' clothes I want the girl with the camera now! _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| They certainly do have alot of detail on them. Are they about the same price as the old models from a couple years ago or do they cost more because there is more detail? That pig under the farmers arm must be a pet. Any piglet I have ever met would have to be held with two arms and you would still have a struggle... and they would have been covered in a piglet present... Thanks for sharing Susanne. Would those be number 2,648, 2,649...467, 468....oh no I probably messed up your counting and now you have to start all over again! ~ Sue |

| Thankyou friends ! I am happy you also like them, - I also think Schleich did a good try here Sue, the price is a bit more than the old ones in the online shops I can find. App the same as for instance the girl with the wheel barrow. But the prices vary so much, it is hard to tell Ahhh, yes !!!! Of course !!!! The pig is a pet pig So the grandparents could be retired people hwo have a hobby farm |

Hmmmm I am not sure it could be removed with a good result. They are gloed on, but it is like the shape of their feet is welded into the light plastic base, so if you try to cit them off, you have to cut a little of their shoes off, too With a very sharp knife you might cut the plastic so that only the part under the feei is left, but that wouldn`t look nice either, - and will they stand, then ? |

| Wonderful pictures, Susanne! Very detailed but still recognisable as Schleich figures! I like traditional figures but I confess I like the blond girl! :) By the way, I can't remember which figure is Kristie? Could someone tell me the reference or show me a picture? |

| Congrats on these human sub-species Susanne! They are well manufactured indeed. The girl with the camera could be a zoo-visitor i guess... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
