I really like the Stork and the Gorillas. I also really liked the Skunk, even though I think I like the Mojo skunk more. The Polar Bears are my biggest complaint. Like you, I got them. But I wasn't terribly impressed, particularly by the adult. I thought the recently retired Schleich Polar Bear adult and cub were much better.

Thanks for the welcoming words again, i am glad to be back more or less...
I know that is is no secret how i think about Schleich the last year, but i want to stay complete more or less, at least at wild life.
I would have bought the polarbears as last, but as the shop where i was had nothing else on the new models in that time, i just bought those two.
They are a little bit better as on pics, but still to playfull, but what the heck...

How i can forget you

Bad things seem to stay better in a mind of a human...

Last week i was in the area of the only toyshop that sells Schleich, so i decided to buy some new Schleichs that is still missed.
Besides the elephant families i am complete for 2012.
I missed the female lowland gorilla with youngster and the African 4 toed hedgehog.
Then i found the last blue shark for a downsided price, so i bought it to.

And important for dog-collectors, i decided to stop collecting dogs, so i didn't buy the mixbreed dogs from last year.
Everybody who is interested in dogs of my collection can PM me, and they are all shown in my collections on Collectors Quest, so you can see them there.
Buying/bidding for reasonable prices is possible, trading to if the objects you have are usuable for me, and are on even level with the subjects you want from my collection.

14662 Schleich Lowland gorilla female with youngster, no groupfoto this time, i did that already last time with the new youngster, this was the only model which was missing in that group of Schleich gorilla's.


14676 Schleich African whitebellied hedgehog, or 4 toed hedgehog.


16096 Schleich Blue Shark 2007-2012.

Congratulation Willy, I like very much the 2012 SCHLEICH gorilla family and this Blue shark must be a new phenomenal specie : The mighty Schleich blue shark 'only crossing on shelves"

It was on sale, and i saw nothing else, so i had to buy it...
The gorilla's are nice indeed, my gorilla family is quit big now, and i still miss so much of the newer brands...

Regularly is a big word, i had about 10 new models in the last half year, besides a box with Hong-Kong models from Philipp.
Before i had between 50-100 models coming in every month!

I hope You will be able to get more this year again!

As i was searching for some new stuff last weeks, i found two items, from which was one out of the collection for a long time, and a variation on the oryx...
As you all know, i never pay to much, so both were real bargains, the shipment inside the Netherlands was even more then the items on their selfs...
Here they are:

14131 Schleich Hippocalf, finally back in the collection.


The family reunited again...


14302 Schleich Oryxes, the left one i had already, made in Portugal, the new one on the right is made in China.
Both do have some paint damage, they are hard to find undamaged.
I didn't knew it was a variation, but just 3 euro for a Schleich Oryx was to low to let it go, so extra luck!
