Willy's Schleich additions...

Hi guys!
Finally some new additions!
I was in the biggest PET-shop in the world in Duisburg Germany yesterday, and instead of buying aquariumfish or related things, i came home with some Schleich models i was still missing(and i do miss a lot from the last years!)
But anyway, here are the new ones.


The whole lot of 7 pieces.

2017? Did you use the Delorean to get there?
Beautiful figures from the future, indeed!

I wish i had a DeLorean haha...
but no, we drove with this car, very suited actually.
On the picture is one of my good friends, and he works in the Amersfoort Zoo here in the Netherlands.

Those are very good choices , I have the squirrel monkey and plan to get that flamingo. Curiously the pink bird is the only in this batch that is made in China.
I was very young when I watched "Back to the Future " and I never revisited that movie since then. I confess I thought it was a Citroen SM  with some adaptations, of course. It was a DeLorean DMC-12, another thing I learned on forum.

Thanks guys! Well, now and then i can't resist to buy something new for the collection.
That most are made in Germany, is because i bought them in Germany.
It seems that the flamingo was only produced in China, and the hyena only in Tunesia so far.

I can't tell you how old i feel sometimes Susanne, i collect medical issues at the moment, but like they say in the Netherlands; Sqeeking cars drive the longest!

By the way, talking about old men... i saw a certain Frenchmen on facebook in some newspaper-articles, which doesn't gets younger also...

Well, i won't say his name, but it starts with a C, and ends with hristophe...

Today i was in the area of the biggest toy-shop in town here, and they normally only sell Schleich and some cheap China stuff.
There was another new brand for me today, from which i forgot the name, very nice models, but with a light-brown spot on them, which you could connect wih a kind of system, which wolud give the person the information on the animal.
These silvery spots are not removable, so that is bad, but from an educational point the idea is very nice of course.
But for me as a collector, this silver point is just disturbing the model of course, sadly enough, because the models has good natural scapes!

So i did buy 5 new Schleichmodels for my collection...(all 2014 by the way).

Beautyful models you chose there
Esoecially I love the way Schleich has made the silvery fur of some Polar wolves.
It is not perfect, but the idea is great, - and I couldn't think of a better way

Those with the "spot", - if you go there again, I would LOVE if you can take a picture
It sounds like somebody has taken up the same idea as TipToi with the orange spot ...very interesting

Willy, do you remember which species have you found among these with a spot? As Susanne say, maybe they are based on Tiptoi figures :)
By the way, I still need to get that gull but preferrably the made in Germany version.

i think we mean the same brand Susanne...
i don't have the feeling that Schleich ment this wolf to be an arctic wolf though...
