| Thank you my friends, I'm happy you enjoyed watching my newcomers pics. Kosta, it's great to know we share the same taste for some models. About the Spinops, I suppose you are talking about the impressive Bigger one. |

| No, I`m talking about this one : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I think, they have Spinops only in this size ... perfect for our collections :) It is from the new PNSO line, with smaller size models. Here are more photos of it : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sorry, the quality of the pics is not very good, I just took them now. And they are only for information, to show you the model, so you can delete them with no worry, to keep this topic clean |

| Thank you Roger, Kosta and Jean-Luc. Kosta, it is indeed a beautiful model. Alas I have less space in my new home and I have to reduce my collection ( I don't want to have an "in box" colection, it doesn't make sense for me). I decided to let go a big part of my collection. I am spending a part of my free time to separate those who will stay from the ones I need to say goodbye. It isn't a sad thing for me, my new collection will be smaller and different but I think I will love it more than ever. So I am not sure I would add that beautiful Spinops now, not before I let a part of my ceratopsian tribe away from me. By the way, PNSO made a smaller Spinops, here is a pic

| Oh yes, the mini PNSO Spinops, I forgot about this one :) Funny thing, this mini model has more rich colors than the bigger one Your new saltwater animals are wonderful ! I have only the CollectA Minke whale and I really like it. It has interesting coloration , mix on painted and printed techniques. The CBOV porpoises are very cute :) Congratulations ! |

| The Safari sea dragon is such a beautiful figure! I love also the Yujin figures, they're so detailed. The Japanese eel is a poem. |

| Beautiful photos of your new sealife. If you have less space for your collection, how about a rotating display? I find this works well. Part of the fun is to decide every time which animals you will display. |

| Thank you all for your nice comments Yes Fernando and Rogério, the Roughskin sculpin and the Japanese eel are really excellent. The real story is I wanted absolutely the Northern snakehead. I bought them as a batch... And I felt in love with the three. Indeed Kosta, the CollectA Minke whale is a very nice model, I already had the venerable Svhleich one and the wonderful tiny Kitan club. I will make a comparison topic and let two of them laeve my shelves for a better home. Rogério, the Safari Ltd Weedy sea dragon is on my wishlist for years now. It's fun to think that the less place I ahve for collecting, the more I can't resist to Safari Ltd hughe models Rogerpgvg, I thought about a rotating display the last years, it is indeed very seducing. Nevertheless, I think I need a more spartiate solution. I enjoyed for years a "large enough" displayed collection (you can watch what it looks like in 2012 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]). I would like to challenge a smaller and more picky collection now. And now let me show you my new Black and White Tribe |

| I'm enjoying these additions pictures. It's great to see that bear, a beautiful and unexpected closure to the last custom swap! The Papo elephant seal looks better each time I see it. The blue sea slug is excellent and the clam with butterflyfish is a masterpiece. You captured the colors on the yellowbar angelfish well- I have one and this picture caused me to go look at it with better appreciation. I still don't have a single PNSO figure. I'm glad they chose some smaller species, like the ones you added, for their small-sized figures. Their creation of that whole range of little models is a very impressive endeavor, which I hope stays in production for some time to come. The Papo cave bear seems very well received but hasn't really caught my interest, I don't know why. I often prefer poses that don't require stands but the Favorite Archaeopteryx is irresistible. Yours looks like its on a mission- there must be something either coming or going on one side of the frame or the other! The Minke whale is one of the highlights among recent CollectAs. The paint appears pretty good on the production model. Thanks to Brett I now have the full penguin's lunch group minus the king penguin chick. They have a great, naturalistic form to their sculpting/poses, for instance the subtle sense of motion to the walking emperor. _________________ - Andy

| Thank you Andy I felt in love for the Papo elephant seal, a bit small but excellent! PNSO are very addictive things, beware I only bought a pair first and they decided me to go further. The Papo cave bear caught my eyes when I discovered him in real life, it reminded me the old dramatic scenes I saw in my youth books. Like a few Papo, the yak for example, it has a Lineol vintage mood I appreciate a lot. I used to enjoy the small Kitan club Minke whale until I discovered the CollectA one, The Kitan is excellent but this one is as good and so bigger About the Penguin lunchs, it seems we have the same collection, we are missing the Secret King penguin chick together And now, ladies and gentlemen, a few Placental mammals

| Nice additions with must have figures, including those that are already in my collection (CollectA Pere David's deer, Natural History tibetan fox and Papo ocelot) or will be soon (CollectA nilghai) or later (Papo lynx). For the remaining figures I already have better models of each species (panda, okapi) or they're just too big for my taste (tamarin, lemur, bat). _________________ My collection:- (Details):

I have most of these in my Synoptic Collection, too, except the panda, okapi, and bat. I agree the bat is too big for me too and my Okapi is better (I am not at home now and I cannot remember which brand, but it's better than the new Schleich one). For the panda, I have the Safari one, but this Schleich one is really nice. In hindsight, I could have considered this one, too!!! |
