| What a totally cool idea, the displays are incredible, thanks for the link to the photos. I do have a question, the Irish elk, what are the predators attacking it? I was thinking they are short faced bears but I thought they would be bigger and hunt alone, maybe a type of extinct hyena?
I would also love to find out more about the actual sculptures, are they real? I am guessing they are artificial sculptures because of the rarity of specimens whose fur has been recovered but if they are not real, what are they made of? Do they stay in the mall permanently or are they part of a travelling display? I hope they would do something like this here in the USA, I have seen lifesized dioramas at many public aquariums and zoos but never a prehistoric mammal display with so many beautiful figures. |

Phil, I'm not sure but I think it is a pachycrocuta, maybe one of our experts in prehistoric life would help you better! :) |

Hi Phil :) Thank you. They were extinct hyenas :) The sculptures look like real and they were made by artists and prehistoric mammals experts. This is travelling display and they will be there for another month. They are really amazing!!! :) _________________ My webside / my collection / my youtube channel / my facebook / my instagram / my twitter
