This guy is not easy to find, and certainly not in good condition.
I think he inspires little boys to play rough

So I am quite pleased to have found these two, one of them even among some old "junk" that one of my Danish friends had .

And, - YESSS ! They are variations

I was fortunate to get this picture as the sun peaked out this afternoon.

Yes, Harriet, they surely look like wolves, - I think that generally may be one of the problems with making some of the more recently extinct mammals, - many of them look like recent ones, except for the size.
So it would take a Harriet or Ana or Joan to make the so accurate that they are easy to recognize

These two guys are real Bully models,not very accurate but with all the more expression and character!

Yes, you are right, that Bullyland often have made some very-far-from-accurate models

But in this case we must be fair and say that we really don`t know what they looked like, as they became extinct app 10.000 years ago.
They weren`t even related to the present day`s wolves , -they are more related to the coyote

Well, this just underlines what I wrote, - it can be quite difficult to make models of extinct mammals

Those are great Susanne! You're so lucky! I still miss the dire wolf in my Bullyland prehsitoric mammal collection! I can't find him anywhere for a good price!

These are very interesting additions and a must in any prehistoric collection! I love them! Those I'm sure not even the Chap Mei wolf can scare them!

Perhaps that IS a positive thing that I never was able to win that wonderful CM-wolf
