I've just found the article about it in Polish. This young lynx lost mother and will stay in Rescue Center for few months, then they want to help him to return to the wild. He didn't get tranquilizer but he was very tired after few days without food and mother... The article was from 19th December 2011. Hopefully the lynx will go back to the forest this Spring

How did he loose his mother do you know?

I couldn't find more and more recent info about him. They only said that people from the village found him completely alone, he was very weak and was laying near the forest They didn't found the mother but not so far away from this forest is road.
Here is photo from December 28th, after almost 2 weeks in Rescue Center [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
In description they said they will bring him back to the wild soon, so maybe he is already in forest again.

Oh,what a cute kittie! His fur looks so soft.
I hope too that he can go back to the wild soon.
