A pretty big collie

A colleague at work asked me to make her a collie, for her sisters 50th birthday.

I started working on it last week, and by mistake accually, it became pretty big, almost 15cm long

It has to be done tomorrow, and fortunetly, it´s almost finished.

This is how far I have come. I will try to finish it tonight, and also make some kind of base.

I kross my fingers that it will turn out ok, and that she will like it

@Vivien; Fortunetly, she liked it a lot But I was realy nervous befor I gave it to her, ´cus I have never sold one befor like this, I have only made them as gifts befor. And when there is money involved, it feels like it´s more important that it have to be realy good, so it feels realy good that she liked it

Sorry, but I wont do any more commision pieces for a while now, it´s realy exausting, and I have to have time to do other things to

@Harriet; Thanx I gave it to her this afternoon, and then later she told me that she had been showing it to everyone at work all night, both colleagues and the ones that lived there (we both work at a retirement home) That felt good to hear, ´cus I think that ment that she liked it. I hope that her sister likes it too (it´s her birthday gift)

What a nice custom :) I own a Collie, they are such lovely dogs! Schleich must make a Rough Collie again, I would love to have a beautifull family of them!

Yes they sure are. We had a wonderful blue merle collie when I was young, and she was the calmest, nicest dog I have ever met

The big brands sure have to make more collies, and not just the lassie-colored ones, but black/white and especially blue merle too

It seems that everybody around here, is able to make his or her own models nowerdays...
