Walk around the stinky thing???

This funny creature is unknown brand skunk, but looks a little bit like squirrel, especially proportions :) i decided to make walkaround photos of this animal for those who wanted to see him closer :) I get this cutie from Rusty last month :)

With these ears and tail I'm almost sure it is a ground squirrel!
It has some similarities with a golden mantled ground squirrel but it is really painted as a stripped skunk! :)

That's a very cute skunk. I know they are around here because every so often one is hit by a car, but I haven't seen one actually walking around in the wild.

It looks like a repainted AUBURN or MARX.

It seems that he is also a friendly little guy, going round chatting with the others

Great that you show us a walk around of him.
It isn`t always the large and complicated models that give us the most happiness

I do not have this skunk, but after your comment I researched a little bit and found it.
It is Marx from their late Wild Animals series, where each animal came in it's own box.
It is on page 421 of Collecting American Toy Soldiers by Richard OBrien third edition.
That is it's original paint. They sell for $3-4 each, more with the original box in good condition.

Yeah Susanne, and very hard to find, specially with box, you just have to stumble on them...
But it might be easier on e-bay USA of course, but always those troubles with paypall payments and shippingcosts...

He is really cute, congrats. He feminds me of Flower off of Disney's Bambi.
