| I made a few stables, I made them of wood. If you want a strong long-lasting stable, make it of wood. Cardboard could look more like rubbish, them it when you make them of wood
Sorry for the bad english |

| Oh Steve that is an awesome stable You could start out with cardboard boxes to decide what size you want it, and stall dividers. Have you been to many stables to get ideas for a stable/horse barn? Then when you have decided what you really want it to look like you can use the lumber/wood. Sometimes you can use a light weight board called Balsa wood and that doll house paper is a GREAT idea! Makes me want to try my hand at something like that! Build my dream farm! :) _________________ Sue |

| Phenomenal design and craftsmanship, Steve... Maybe Schleich should hire you as a consultant for their structural design team... |

hi thanks for all the kind comments, the walls are made of 12mm mdf and nailed together with an electric nailgun i cut it with a bench saw or jigsaw, i paper one side of the walls before nailing them and then once nailed paper the other side to hide where the nails went in,the papers are readily available on ebay i think i paid about £1.25 per sheet which are 22" by 30", the grass is about £8 a roll but does 3 to 4 stables, i have done 4 stables now, 2 for my daughters and 2 for friends daughters they are all different but all are on a 24" square baseboard,i dont really plan them i just design it as i go along thanks steve |

| Steve, that stable is amazing. Maybe you ought to be making and selling them on ebay. You did an amazing job on it. The details are fantastic. |

| wow that is such a cool stable! my stable well actually its an animal rescue coz i LOVE animals and mainly horses, goes along the floor of my entire room and i have 97 horses and i still cant use all of them! but i found it easy to start a stable having your main barn and i alwats start with cardboard then paint so i can add homemade tack hooks and racks and feed buckets. :) |
