Yes, we have to look on the bright side of life, - now, after some hours have passed, and after the dogs have taken/pulled me for a long walk, I begin to cool down, - I think that very soon I may even begin to laugh geek

How could that poor seller know I was interested in a silly old cardboard box with a stupid dog on scratch

That is also why I decided not to contact him before tomorrow.
I once had a boss who said : Never write to anybody when you are angry at him/her !
It was really good advice from a wise man Wink

Except that the box also go munched...take a hair dryer and heat up the tape so the glue will loosen. MAYBE it will come off and not take the box cover with it if worked very very slowly.

Don't wait too long. The less time the tape has had to be stuck to the box the better chance you will have to remove it.
Don't forget the tweezers too. It will either come easily off or it won't... Rolling Eyes

I will cross all my fingers and toes that it will come off!
But I won't go out tonight or people will be saying, "Oh that poor lady she has a terrible time walking...and her hands are all twisted..." Shocked
