| I like taking pics of my horses collection, and some of them require people figurines, that could mount my horses. Many manufactures have riders' figurines (and even special sets devoted to different horse riding events), but while Breyer ones have joints in their legs and arms, for me Schlech-likey are very static. I like when you can change the figurine's position- even a little, or put it next to the animal figurine and that would look realistic. So I think I found a good decision- - action figures. They are made in 1:24 (Schleich-like), 1:12 (Breyer classic and Safari large) and even bigger scales, and look realistic. You can make them mount a horse or just put next to it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And they can be left on the flat surface standing without some aditional support. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And what figurines do you use as riders for your equine figurines? |

| I also though of using customised action figures, but it's almost impossible to find such figures in proper scale for my Collectas in my counrty. And if I manage to find any, they are usually quite expensive. I've decided to try Bullyland human figures - they are stiff, but this brand makes great human figures. Could you write which brand are Anakin and Luke figures? Maybe I could find those somewhere in my country, and customise them a bit to look more equestrian-themed _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

I've decided to try Bullyland human figures - they are stiff, but this brand makes great human figures. To tell the truth, most of the action figurines I have are also unavailable in my country, so I have to use ebay and mate collectors to get them - Quote :

They are by Hasbro. I love Bullyland humen figures, but their position cannot be replaced, and that's the problem |

| A crazy idea just came to my mind - maybe I'll try to make an articulated figure of Bullyland rider figures I don't know yet how, but maybe I'll give it a try. _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| I use Schleich, Safari and Papo riders. Though I do have a few 1:24 scale action figures lying around, so maybe the Justice League will take a trip to the stable... |

| Alvaro Thank you for the pics, those riders are great) I also got several LotR figures (and Hobbit ones), and I think they do well with classic scale horses. The only problem is that you may do only 'historical' or 'fantasy' pictures with them, and no photos about classical sport. |

| For riders and handlers, we use action figures, including some LOTR figures (Alvaro, we love your pictures of Galadriel!). [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For 1/12th scale horses, the people from "Primeval" and "Doctor Who" have good jointing and turn at the waist, neck and wrists. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And they look just as good with some of our other animals. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For handling 1/9th scale horses, we use 7-inch figures from "Heroes" and "Hunger Games". Sue & Lesley castlerigg |

| I have been given a large quantity of Schleich horses (mainly retired ones). I would like to make a Medieval diorama, Can any body tell me of any knights that may fit the schleich horses?

| Hello everybody and thankyou for the quick replies. Can anyone confirm that the horses made for the schleich knights are the same (scale etc) as the 'normal' schleich horses?

| Welcome here Well, from the Schleich line of knights only the horse and knight sold together will fit. They're molded so they fit quite snug. |
