River dolphins: mother and baby sculpted by Phil :)

Hi! Our friend Phil (Philter) had sculpted beautiful river dolphins and asked me to send photos here because he had some problems with photo bucket. The pair is made in scale 1:22 Very Happy

Enjoy the photos of this work. In my opinion it's brilliant idea to sculpt them together, thanks to that solution they really look like swimming, especially the small one! Very Happy

Thank you Anna for posting the photos for me, I am still on holiday and am having trouble logging onto some things like Photobucket and my email (sorry if I haven't replied to anyone who has tried to contact me but that is why and I'll respond as soon as I return) but I wanted to show this pair to everyone. They are in 1:22 scale as all of my models but I really wanted the pair to be together. Not only are river dolphins very tactile but because they are almost completely blind the mother and baby are almost always in contact with each other. It made the swimming pose a perfect choice.

Hope you all like them and thanks again Anna, I couldn't have posted the photos without her!

I can't post photos while I am away but I have made several similar pairs and they are available for sale or trade. I can send them from here (still in Florida) but there is nohurry to send any trade figures to me until June.

Hi guys, a couple of questions - what are they made of exactly and are they in scale with other Schleich whales and dolphins? (Silly question as I should know!)

Is the baby joined to the mother or is it removable and able to sit as a model on its own?

Hi Numaan, they are made of polymer clay but are not in a Schliech scale, the figures are 1:22 like the rest of my custom figures.

This pair is attached together but it would take no effort to do them separately.
