| this is what i found in the DTF
the one who wrote it,,is a good well.
this is the news BIG NEWS
-------------------------------------------------------------
Attention Bullyland Fans
Due to high demand, it appears Bullyland is bringing back their prehistoric mammal figures this summer.
This should provide a great opportunity for collectors to get pieces that were previously out of their grasp - including the coveted Deinotherium. The only downside is the potential drop in value for the original pieces. Those of you who paid heavily, or wish to be paid heavily, for your retired prehistoric mammals... might have some thinking to do.
Dryopithecus Australopithecus Homo Habilis Homo Erectus Homo Neanderthalensis Homo Sapiens Woolly Rhino Task Elephant (Deinotherium) Cave Bear Early Giant Predator (Andrewsarchus) Giant Sloth Giant Mammoth Diatryma Chalicotherium Giant Deer Saber Tooth Cat Ancient Horse Saber Tooth Tiger Mastadon
Not sure if these are the name they always used for the figures, but that's the full list of items that are expected to go back into production. Obviously there can be changes, but I am told everything is on track so far.
-----------------------------------------------
isn't that NEWS our isn't NEWS
finaly i can finish my bullyland collection
i made a few post on the bullyland side and some others to,,and they listen to the request,,YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

WOW! That is also a way to survive as a business They did the same with the chamois... Well ay least I hope they change something in the painting, so they don`t scare people off buying anything as "rare" again in the future Thankyou very much for the info, Martien

Martien! If I am understanding well, they are making exactly the same figures as previously and not only the same species! That's great and also not great! They are saving money with a lot of new releases but not showing nothing really new. Most of them will look very outdated, deinotherium will be one of them. But that's also nice. We will have the chance of having some species not available anymore and that we can find online but very expensive. It also would represent the chance of adding more interesting animals in future and give a new life to that line. The old series will drop in value but are surely variations and a hard collector loves always to have the original from 1st series! :)

I surely hope the new owner has enough sence to make them very different in painting, - some people will be really, really upset otherwise For instance me, - I just got this little cutie : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Fortunately I didn`t pay a fortune for him

Joan, you don't have to feel sorry! That's a very interesting subject and it is always nice to talk about it. :) Much more when we are expecting from Mojo some prehistoric mammals, a deinotherium for example? But it is also nice to know that Bullyland will remake this successful line! Being prehistoric, an update of the figures although the same species would be very welcome but if they keep exactly the same moulds that's also a nice chance to those who can find the original ones. Also it will work as a retro series, not my style, an easy way to make a complete line not wasting much money and also to remember to collectors that Bullyland also has some very valuable retired figures. The new owners of Bullyland are trying to grow their image to sell the brand for a higher price in near future as it happens with Schleich last years! A new concept of making money! I confess I'd loved someone remaking Lineol figures in plastic but in an affordable price. It was much nicer for me to give 15 Euros, for example for a remaking of a Lineol than for a Bayalalalal figure!
