| When I was a little girl mad with dinos, my father (who's like some of you may already know is a collector as well) gave me several dino kits manufactured by Tamiya. He glued and even painted some of them for me (as I was too young to do it myself), and for some time they were considired to be my favourite toys I can hardly remember where they are now (I think some of them were given away later, only T-Rex and raptors still dwell somewhere in the storeroom). Not long ago I found some pics of those vintage kits while surfing the Internet, and I'd like to share them with you. (I will try to have a look and find my Tamiya dinos- those that still remain in my posession) AFAIK most of them are made in 1:35 scale (however, some from my collection were in 1:72 or sth like this), from hard plastic, and you have to connect the peices together with glue and then paint the figure. | Those are awesome. I hope you are able to find yours. They must mean so much to you since they came from your father and you have childhood memories with them. I think I have seen a couple of these on ebay and thought about getting them. |

So do I. I would share some pics if I get them:) I think you would love them, they are really detailed (esp sauropod ones), and not that big, so do not require too much space. SUSANNEYes, it was rather funny, esp because I got an opportunity TO HAVE MY VERY OWN SCALE MODELS, and what's more- they were DINOS, not just soldiers:) I think they are still produced, though I do not know for certain. However, some of them still can be found in our model shops, but quite expensive |
