| How you can be so sure about the originality of those paint-versions Peter? I give the Holsteiner mare the shadow of a doubt, but i really doubt the pinto-Trahkener... |

| If I understood this discussion correctly I can tell you that both horses are original from Schleich, they come with the covered wagon. I know it because I have that set and those exact same horses can be seen in the picture that I took of my Available horses :) |

| Yes, you don`t can buy them alone. Only with the covered wagon. I think that is very sad |

| Yes, it is very sad. I would like to have them for my horse collection, as well as with the wagon. Every once in a while they will pop up on ebay without the wagon, but you haveto look closely to find them. |

| Ooooh, that is why i didn't knew them, i knew about the covered wagon, but never really looked at the two horses which go with this set... So real variations then, although more worthfull with the set in the future i guess... |

| Yes, I've always wanted just the horses, as much as I like the wagon, it's too expensive for me. |

| I am surprised that Schleich made the horses the way they did with one walking and the other standing. That wouldn't go over too well pulling a real wagon train... :) ~Sue |

| I really like that set but can't find one for sale.
My mum was willing to buy it for me for christmas and now I can't find any. I'd love it to recreate a Bonanza scene ! |
