BANDAÏ small models are a big lesson for Western companies who are making bigger but less detailed figurines... I mean ALL the Western companies  Laughing

BANDAÏ, at least, is also a very good answer to people who think that a model "made in China" is always worse than a "made in Europe" model  Wink . BANDAÏ and KAIYODO are made in China and are excellent. So if a "made in China" SCHLEICH seems worse than "made in Europe", the problem is SCHLEICH... Not China  tongue

A few pics with BANDAÏ and SCHLEICH zebras will explain better  Wink

My focus was not in congenital malformations but the fact that the brand complicated the sculpting. These "broken" baboon tails are a dream for the brands once they turn easier the sculpting and also prevent that they break easily. JIM made them in a way that modern brands don't like! I know JIM made jouettes modernes but is not a modern brand. :)

Indeed it is a very dangerous thing to be modern because it is a very precarious status Laughing
