| The tree that I got from Danny arrived today, and I can not believe how beautiful it is. It is going to easily be the centerpiece of the Indian diorama and might even be the prize of my tree and plant collection. The only reason I do not call it the best is I have 2 more custom trees that I had input into making, a baobab tree, which should almost be finished, and an umbrella acacia that will be bigger and show off my leopard and kill. Here are several pics, just some of the tree and others of the tree with some of the animals in it. | I don't get it, I do the same thing to post a photo, and more often then not it comes as a link. Can't figure that out, sometimes it works, but mostly it is as above so I appologise, but it is what it is. |

| That is a fantastic fig-tree Phil! But i think i saw it before when Danny had it made. I guess, he couldn't use it anymore for his diorama... Anyway, congratulations on a purchase so very nice! Those monkees feel really at home in it, you can see that, they just belong there Phil! About your uploading of your pics... When it doesn't work out the way you do, why don't you try it another way, like the site i always use, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ... It is in German indeed, and they re-newed it as i saw today, but it still works the same. Only when the picture is not shown or linked at for 50 days, the it will dis-appear. But you don't need to speak German for that, just upload and use the BB-Code in Originalgröße, take it from there, and put it here, and your picture will be shown, thats all! But even when i upload pictures from my pc over this box, by clicking on the box under the "B" , it works. I already saw, that you have IMG before and after your pics, and thought there was something wrong... So try that, and see what happens then. Good luck! |

| Willy, this was made before I was buying trees from him, and I don't know if he posted pics, he did of the goliath fig, which is bigger tnen mine, but mine is better scale for my dioramas then the goliath.
As I said, this was made before, and I had no input to it's look, though I couldn't have given any suggestions that would have been better, it is beautiful. I have already ordered a baobab tree, which Danny and I discussed the design, foliage color and amount, as well as size. This tree is being made right now, in fact I expect it to be done soon. I have also began the design for the umbrella acacia, again Danny and I have discussed the layout of the branches and foliage, and the place where the leopard and her kill will sit when the tree is set in Africa. I am going to replace all of my Schleich trees to custom made, or the Japanese kits. |

| Ok then, so this was a complete new tree! Way to go Phil! Like i said, you are on the same way as Danny is, but only in your scae, and that will even look much better, even though, you made a very nice and beautifull diorama already! You are a good boy, haha. |

| Hello, Phil is right, i had never shown that tree, it has been part of my collection for some time, and it will look much better in Phil's diorama due to the scale. As for the tree that Willy refers to Phil, not sure that is Goliath he is talking about, i think Willy knows that Goliath (the huge fig i showed in the other forum is much bigger and looks very different) i think he is talking about, the first tree i showed in the forum, it was an indian banyan species, with a similar trunk structure to the one you have, but a lot bigger about 32" inches wide, and a lot of more foliage, and branches. I will include some pics that i posted in the forum a long time ago, it shows a few angles of the tree, the leaves are a lot more green, as this species has a different color than the one you have. By the way, this one might end up in Phil's Asian diorama as well, we need to see how much room he will have, even this giant is a little out of scale with the 1:12 figures, it was made for 1:24 scale. | Danny, That tree is fantastic as well, we'll have to talk about it later, I have the other trees and bushes we are working on right now, but a second banyon type tree is deffinitly a possibility. And the scale for plants between 1:22 and 1:24 is nothing, not like an animal, they look out of place when placed next to each other.
Thanks again for such a beautiful tree, it will be well shown on the new diorama, in fact I am thinking of changing the layout just a little so the tree is shown off better, the original idea was to have it all the way to the back, in the upper left corner of the forested area. Now I think I will bring it forward so the view of it isn't obstructed by anything. |

| They are not bonzais, but just the fact that they are confused with bonzais, i think pays a big complement to the trees, they are scale diorama trees/plants The idea is to make the trees and plants as realistic as possible to create a particular scene. |

| Well, i do know both of those trees Danny, as many of the items you had made for the zoo, i saved most of the pictures because i liked them so much. But i am not sure which one i ment, when i talked about the one that Phil has now. Of course this crazy Frenchman was joking again, haha. But actually is bonsai a compliment indeed, as we know, that they need lots of work too, but they are real, so this says something about thr real looks of your models Danny! I really can't wait to see finally some more pics of your upcoming zoo! |

| "By the way, it seems you have now a wonderful Kudu bonzaï" Funny Guy You probably would not be surprice but a lot of the trees have been confused with Bonsais, the artist and I took to this Fair in the local Botanical Gardens, and since i have been a member for some time of their park, i had the chance to set up a booth, and every single person that walked up, thought they were bonsais and much worse that they were alive. It makes the artist and myself happy, it validates its realism. The kudus are very safe now, but i will take pics of them in time and shared them here, i have none of the old conserns anymore, since it seems that starting out an animal figure company will be a lot of trouble that i'm not prepare for, so i will stick to what i know. |

| Oh yes, i will believe that, as the realism of your trees is so good! I know how much things come together with starting your own business... Right now, i am working on an eventual business in tropical fish. It would be nice when that succeeds, but ok, i am now from that for now, there are soo much things to arrange and work out! Anyway, i love to see the models when they are ready of course! |
