Müller special editions, non animal figures

Yesterday I got great news for all of us!

The german supermarket "Müller" had some special editions in the last year 2011. Remember the "Red Dragon 72001", Bilara light version 72004, etc.

And in September 2012 they bring new Special Editions out! What special editions I don't know, but I think we get to know that soon!

I hope they make a special horse to.
Now i'll buy it directly and not after a long time.
Here in the netherlands they always ask insane prices for them

I would like to help you too, with getting the special editions, but I have problems with getting them too, because the next "Müller" supermarket is one hour with the car away from me. I'm sorry!

By the way: Did you know that all new heroes, inclouding the 2012 releases are going to be retired in this year. I heard this a while ago and now I heard often, that the fighter elephant and the other heroes are price reduced. That means it must be true. The new heroes leave us in the end of 2012.

Awww, when I opened this thread and noticed it was a Superwide Scroll Sideways one I thought someone had posted pics... turns out it was just Álvaro's screaming.

If they're going to be retiring them this soon I guess I'll just have to get off my ass and shop, shop, shop!

I was very shocked too, as I heard, that the new heroes are gonna be retired. So I have to go shopping in September and catch the new heroes from Sept. 2012 very fast!

I am nott surprised, - the first ones were REALLY ugly, IMHO

But the ones that are not yet on the market look much better, - why are they retireing them before thay arrive ?

I think they saw the 2011 heroes are not bringing enough money and so they think the 2012 heroes will run on the market badly too. So they must be retired. But its not sure that they have to go, but all clues making this possible!

Clue 1: Reduced Heroes.
Clue 2: Information that the new heroes are selling bad
Clue 3: The 2011 heroes are ugly (only the heroes not the elephant)

To me it sounds like typical Schleich speculation!
When figures are not having too much success they usually run the idea that they will be retired and usually, most Schleich collectors, doesn't care if a figure is good or not, important is when it will be retired. That's a easy way to sell a lot of figurres.
If you wait until January, you will know if they will be retired or not and if they are, they will stay in local shops still for a long time.
Schleich sells nicely here and I still can find the Schleich retired wild boar for example. Also, when they cannot sell them, big shops will sell the figures very cheap. Only some tips from someone that doesn't collect these warriors and symbols of animal submission!

That I don't know. These heroes are from the Bayala Arelan series. They may could be retired together with the new heroes, but I don't know more about that. Sorry!
