My sketches of Disney animal caricatures .

As an obsessive animal lover and hardcore Disney fan , I always enjoy sketching Disney animal characters in different movements and actions , thus I study the animal anatomy and attitude . I have sketched hundreds of Disney caricatures mostly animals . Since my age of 9 yrs. , I have been doing this .

These drawings you are seeing were drawn straight away with black sketch with out using pencil and rubber , in single strokes. [ it's quite challenging which I am thoroughly enjoying ]

@ Susanne - is a good question . Well , I prefer to be alone while sketching in order to have complete concentration as u know sketching them directly with no erasers is really tedious . In this process, I have to draw a pic. in bigger scale without disturbing the facial and body proportions . It's , I feel , indeed a big deal . [I have to maintain the uniformity thro out the drawing ]

co-incidentally , I have taken a very short video clipping of my sketching of BROTHER BEAR scene - Kenai and Koda floating in the air , and the completely finished pic. below .

As I am too fond of grizzlies and brown bears, here are a couple of pics. from Disney's BROTHER BEAR film , that I sketched. No one has studied in depth , the animal behaviour and it's anatomy embedded with anthropoid mannerisms as the most gifted Disney artists - the animators have studied and researched .

Hope , we all , animal replica maniacs will be in a much better position to understand such phenomenal art works Disney has contributed to the world . [My heart is always for 2D hand drawn traditionally animated films

i read somwhere that said mufasa and scars dad is called ahadi and there mum is uru and it also said that scars real name is taka and he got his eye scrached by a buffalo

As I adore cattle , I have sketched obesessively , the characters from HOME ON THE RANGE , 2004 Disney hand drawn animated classic . It's a story about 3 farm cows - Maggie , Grace and Calloway . I love all the FARM animal characters in that movie . Few pics. here ...

note; the speciality of the character designs were the sharp angular edges of limbs , face , body etc. [ not the typical Disney 's soft rounded corners ] ....very different attempt by Disney .
It was indeed a tough task to sketch them [ not using eraser ] as I had to draw many straight lines with out scale
