| I think that is correct that they look the same. That is because the Preiser company, who makes these little HO scale figurines took over the moulds from Hausser Elastolin in the 1980s, so they are using their models now actually. Here is a good site for all of those Preiser figurines in all the different scales... http://www.reynaulds.com/preiser.aspx |

http://www.reynaulds.com/preiser.aspx Don't show me that site! I want all the HO zoo animals now It would be quite fine making an HO zoo, a bit fiddly though. I see, yes it's the Preiser HO farm animals and some people I have. They are quite expensive, I bought them for my Farm, still need to paint some of them. I'm starting a new thread with pictures. |

| Yes, they are! And quit expensive too. I went to a railway-shop around here to see what the prcies were. The cheapest was the red deer enclosure, around the 30 euro mark. the others went up to 80 euro's! _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Amazing collection Willy. I especially like the shetland pony and the donkeys. The zoo enclosures would be awesome to have, but expensive. It would be neat to make a scene out of them. |

| Nice figurines, Willy. The Faller enclosures, etc. are most wonderful. Have you seen the Hafen diorama sets? Not animal-related, but amazingly real, almost like viewing a painting from the hyper-realist school..... |

| Thank you Amy! For me, the 1:32 scale is the base of my collections, because i started with them long ago.
Yes Holly, the animals come with the enclosures indeed!
Thanks Phil too! I am sure that the other diorama's in the HO or even other scales would look great too, even when i didn't see them yet... _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman
