I have to say I've gone through this entire post and am really impressed with everyone's customs.  They are true works of art and huge improvements over the originals.

I've tried some custom work myself, but it's not something I do to often, mostly to make certain breeds that interest me.  These are a Landseer made from the Bullyland Newfoundland and an Ibizan Hound made from the CollectA Greyhound.

Repainting and customizing my animals is part of my collecting hobby.
Most repaints of mine are just to improve a bad factory paint job, like the Papo big cats.
Or to make new species out of them, like the Schleich foxes and Collecta peregrine.

Simone? So many secrets? Oh, I love your repaints... all of them! I like the way you used these foxes and I like even more the way you used these falcons. Though, I wished I had a Papo crocodile painted as yours! It is all what that figure needs to be almost perfect!
About the rooster rex, I always wonder how a Tyran could look colored like a rooster and you did it. I suspect you did it for fun but I am seriously convinced that it is not far from reality and surely these prehistoric monsters were more like chickens than like lizards.

I have totally embraced the fact that dinosaurs had feathers.
They look so much better with a nice coat of fuzz.
In fact, I feel like a peeping Tom these days looking at "old school" dinosaurs.

I'm particularly impressed with the amazing plumage on T-rex, it looks so much better now! I hate the OF paint job on this model, I couldn't even see how good the sculpture was, because of the horrible original paint scheme. Now, you gave him life and it looks wonderful!! What a progress!
