PostSubject: new coral tree   new coral tree EmptyFri Oct 01, 2010 6:26 am

I just finished my corky coral tree, it is a native of India and has beautiful flowers. I decided to make one, and it took 10 days because I made each flower and leaf one by one. The one thing I do not like about the tree is that unless it is very very humid the tree loses all if it's leaves before it is finished flowering. I decided to make a tree that had a few leaves and a lot of flowers, although my diorama forested area is representative of a tropical forest so it would probably flower with leaves still on the tree.

Here is a photo of the tree before I put it on the diorama

Here it is on the diorama, I am not going to keep it here, but without moving some things around I can't place it where I want it to go so for now here is where it stands

Beautiful Phil. I love the color that it adds to the diorama. The flowers are gorgeous.
