| Thank Mojo to appeal to collectors. I personally think a logical parresseux that can cling to the branch of a tree as a base, but can easily free themselves and be put next to it! for the realization and molding cella faciliterais production! It remains q'à find a good compromise, posture to adapt to the sculptors? Also many collector does not like the bases ...... or elements fused to the figurine! thank you Susanne Joan and Rogerio |

| Lucky it is surely once crossing a road is more dangerous than crossing Mara river. Those are unusual creatures and I love unusual things. Mojo already have a choice for a pose according with our comments. I'll let you know as soon as it is confirmed. As long as we are waiting I want to show how cute are these creatures, who wants to take care of sloth babies? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL-VrVlv3Xo |

| I think including a branch where the animal could be hanging would be a great idea! And very realisti. _________________ Visit my collection gallery at http://sylobe.deviantart.com/gallery/26714361

| Thanks for the video Roger.
And thanks for the picture Susanne...I think that this would be my favourite pose ahead of all the other options given the choice. I would like the idea of attaching some cord to my shelving unit and have the sloth hanging off it.
Also, thanks Mojo for involving us in your project, I'm sure that whatever decision is made, will result in a brilliant replica!
Look forward to hearing more _________________ More pictures of my Collection... https://toyanimalmuseum.blogspot.com ...Latest update 08/03/20

| SLOTH POSE
So we have already a pose choice due to the effort of STS members. After reading this topic Mojo agreed with this pose here posted by Scott! I'll share with you this question: ""So what about something similar to scots Image 2, and we place him on the fork of a Tree, so we do a minimal tree base just for effect but keep it low profile and then sit the figure directly on it like he would be in the wild?" Let me know your thoughts... As Scott remembered That's a 3-toed sloth and the Mojo figure will be a Linnaeus two-toed sloth. We have to wait 3 or 4 weeks to see the first mould pictures but it will be exciting surely. As long as we wait we can continue commenting and discuss the figure. :) Thanks again for your help. |

| That's great! I'm really glad they have chosen to include some tree in the model. I think this will be a really nice piece, looking forward to seeing the mould!!! _________________ More pictures of my Collection... https://toyanimalmuseum.blogspot.com ...Latest update 08/03/20

| that is great news! It's really wonderful that Mojo is allowing us to participate. Thank you, Roger, for relaying the information.
I'm curious about how much the tree will be playing a role/be present in the figure. (For example, are they imagining that one of the sloth's arms will be holding on to a branch? like the three-toed sloth in the picture above?)
Also, I'm glad two-toed sloths don't have tails (they don't, right?), since the tail is the weirdest-looking aspect of the picture above.
This is very exciting!! Thank you for all the updates!

Scott, thanks but all thanks are for all members that are participating in this tread and taking its precious time to help! See the ingenious work of Jean-Luc, the picture Susanne posted, Ralf pictures of 2-toed sloth and all other contributions including yours. I don't want to charge the topic saying thanks anytime someone posts but that's waht I feel. My joy is to know that people enjoy and that it turns in a interesting experience to the members of this forum. I still don't know how the tree will play with the figure but surely the animal will not have a tail for the reason you correctly referred. That's a very hard project, it will be hard to find pictures of the correct sloth in that pose from several angles to make the best possible. Anyway we know Mojo is a competent brand and that together with us the final work will be great! :) |
