First Breyer custom Selle Francais mould

Carolynn suggested I practice painting on some Breyer models before painting my artist resins. So here is my first attempt, it's a Breyer Classic scale Selle Francais, painted into a Dapple Bay

Thanks Silvia! It's done in acrylics, I didn't use anything special, just built up layers of colour, from dark to light. The dapples were hard and I'm not very pleased with the result, I think I've worked out how to do them now though. Do you have any technique or a tutorial that you know of on how to paint bay dapples?

No sorry, I am still working on my dapples. When i find a good technique I´ll let you know :)

I like the paintwork, though the dapples seem to be to bright to my taste:)

Thanks Daria - I know, I wasn't very pleased with the dapples either, next time will hopefully be better.
