Safari Ltd Lots for October 2010 came in...

Today i had to get a package from the post-office too, and it was from Blaine(BMMATTHISON), whith which i traded insect-models for Safari's.
I have 7 new Safari's in, and he included a little extra present too.

They aren't very available in the Netherlands too, much smaller then Portugal Roger...
But the internet helps us out i guess...

I was hunting for some Safari's last weeks, and today i had this lot in.
The 2724-29 Giant Pandacub, and the 2921-29 Koala with baby.
In the lot was a China made Scottish Colllie to, which i had already, but was a colour-variation, which i will put here, as it is to much work and affords to make another tread for him.

In the last picture, the human figure reminds me of Sherlock Holmes...

I can understand that Gabe, haha. :)
But he is the 1:32 Farmer from the deetail Britains series from the 1980's.
I always use him or the Britains zoo-keeper for the scale, the zoo-keeper is from the earlier vintage series, so the models before the deetail series.
The 1:32 scale was more common in the 1950's up to the beginning of the 1980's, and after that the manufacturers started to make bigger models in the 1:24 and 1:20 scales or even bigger.
