what was your first schleich

mine was the 1992 african bull elephant then the polar bear female wich reitred this year

The mine was a little pig from minis and the old appalossa horse for 1996 :)

My first Schleich was the previous red fox. I didn't collect it before, I only bought some figures to the kids of my family, mainly to my niece. As she didn't like the fox she gave me back to me and it was my first Schleich figure. The same happened with the previous male African elephant but I think it was later...

difficult question- i think it was on the birds of prey, the golden eagle

mine was the haflinger mare and the retired lion cubs!!

I remember having these Schleich classics; brown dachshund, collie and brown haflinger, when I was a kid. The dogs are still safe. The horse's location is unknown ;_;

The first modern Schleich I got was probably the fox (the 2005-10 one). I didn't collect extant animals back then, but I have always liked Schleich animals, so when I found it from a thrift store I had to get it : )

The first Schleich animals I bought new (and decided I should start collecting them) were the Thomson's gazelles. : )

I really dont know as my mum and dad bought me around 20 before I was born for a present But when i was 8 I saw them in a toy shop and bought the orange cat, I looked at the base and found Schleich which reminded me of a elephant I had at home (the 2004 one, male) Then i noticed they were from the same brand and started to collect, the others that i did not know were schleich were in my other old house which was on sale, i picked them up straight away after knowing it was schleich and after research i found out they were rare from 1980's and 90's, horses, wildlife etc so depends what you mean, first ever or first to collection?

I was always interested in Schleich figures, but it wasn't until I got a job that I could afford them! I also had to find a well-stocked toy store, and so I fell in love with the Elves. My first was the dark elf Surah, 70406. I loved her little dragon and the fact that she was retiring. Here she is with her sister Sera (who was my third Schleich!), the orange cat (it looks like my childhood cat who's passed away) and the Safari Fire Dragon, all on the Oracle:

sorry about the poor picture quality- I'd love to take new pictures, but most of my animals and elves are packed in storage at my parents' house while I go to college. That just gives me an excuse to buy new ones though, haha.
