i´m not cruel. I only show collectors what´s possible, but i still miss several hundred figures i would like to have.

An awesome variety of bears you have, Torben!
At first I was embarrassed to see the ant-eaters among your bears, but then recollected its German name and everything has stood on its places. :)

I,m delighted with your collections and systematization! And thank you very much for the information about VEB Plaho! It was lovely brand of my childhood, but I have,nt knew about it (that my models is VEB Plaho)! I was on Wylli,s site and have saw VEB Plaho hippo, which I,ve hunted in my childhood, but have,nt got it! Thanks!

The last photo doesn't count,grandpa Torben!No!No!
They may be called bears in Germany,but red-pandas,racoons,ant-eaters and koalas are completely different animals!Not even close to bears,but more to marsupials,mustelides,procyionids and edentates.No!No!It is not fair!

PS:I have a wonderful encyclopedia with animals,very very acurate,but there is a horrible mistake in it:they classified red-pandas as bears!!!!

But i must agree with Mihnea here, as a big group of these animals are no bears of course...
Although i know the name is like that in the German language.
Koala's should be in your marsupial collection, anteaters in your edentates collection, and raccoons and panda's in your part of the collection with little predators like martens and their extended family...
this means you can show them again,haha...

i know the taxonomy. But the problem is the german language. In german it means

Koala-Bär = Koala
Wasch-Bär = Raccoon
Ameisen-Bär = Anteater
Kleiner Panda-Bär or Katzen-Bär = Small or Red Panda

You are right, when you think to find these animals in other (zoological correct) classifications in future again

Well, just a little zoological mistake my friend....
