| I already mentioned them in my collection's topic, but I think this company really deserves a separate topic I will be posting here only OF (original finish) models, as I'm planning to customize them, especially the Stablemates - customs will go to a separate topic when I finally get to make some. My first Breyers are: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Breyer SM 5929 Mustang (stallion), blue roan (very dark) Breyer SM 5944 Sport Horse (gelding), chestnut pinto (I'd say frame overo + sabino) Breyer SM 5955 Cob (gelding), dun More photos: *click* They are small (about the same size as Schleich foals) but quite detailed, and I haven't noticed any serious flaws in their conformation (like unnaturally narrow chest in some Collectas). Their size seems to be the perfect scale for me, although I won't stop buying bigger models :) _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| Nice SM!
Do your cob stands well? I have the same mold but in the Friesian model and I had to add a bit of tail because he couldn´t stand. And even now it´s a bit inestable... _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

| Great new additions, congrats! Those colors really make them stand out - the blaze on the rearing horse really makes all the difference. I especially love the jumper, such a nice shade of chestnut! Has Breyer finally given up on the overly metallic paintjobs then? _________________ Stuff you should be reading: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Thanks!
Sylvia - my cob is quite stable, his tail touches ground. I think it may vary in individual specimens.
Sumo - maybe Breyer still does metallic paintjobs on some models, I don't know, but these three are not metallic. _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| WOW! That was very nice of you to give you such a beauty She is SO lovely, even if I have a sort of problem getting used to see this former sturdy little hard-working mountain horse being turned into a lightly build riding pony |

| Thanks! Yes, she's amazing in real life :)
Susanne, I'm going to repaint her and change her breed into more suitable one - maybe Welsh Cob D? _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| Wonderful! But i think the same as Susanne: too light for a Haflinger. Welsh Cob... I think that breed has a more compact body. In my opinion she could fit Garrano, a Portuguese breed: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

| I think she's a bit too heavy for a Garrano. I was also thinking about Welsh Cob x Anglo-Arabian, like this mare: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Or just a grade horse, of unknown breeding - that could suit her the best, as she's a "big" (non-pony) horse in her scale - she's a bit bigger than my Safari Ltd. Blue Ribbon Friesian. _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| Oh, WC x AA would be great! The Angloarabian blood makes the Welsh Cob more lighter so it could fit well the crossbred. Good idea :) _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

| No doubts that you know what to choose as a gift for yourself! The figure is beautiful as well as your idea. Though, I hope someday to see someone making a Garrano as Silvia suggested! |

Haha, so ture! Who knows, maybe one day I'll make a Garrano custom? If only I can find enough good photos for reference, then why not? :) _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

Oh, that would be very helpful, since I don't know Portuguese at all. I'll let you know when I need help with Garranos :) Thanks, Ken! _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| Very beautiful Magda! I confess I like these little horses. It is time to think in a new member for my little collection. I like all those you're showing but this time I'll think in a heavy horse instead. Congratulations! |
