Mojo is really doing great tings for my collection (o)): The deinotherium is really nice but I prefer the hyaenodon I would be happy to put my hands on some Kinto but they are really expensive on eBay those days. I hope I will find a solution. The SAFARI Ltd dimorphodon is also a great news for me |

| I'll get ALL those prehistoric mammals, the Diatryma, and perhaps the Cambrian Life Toob. Regarding dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals don't interest me very much, although Safari Ltd. and Favorite Collection are pretty good... I think I'll buy the CollectA Daspletosaurus, I love the pose. I really don't like the Schleich dinosaurs, they seem caricatures |

| Wow! I think I might buy my best friend some schleich dinos for christmas and hopefully get him into collecting with me! For myself, though, I personally love the Hyaenodon! He might be wish-list worthy! _________________ -Paige!

| What I like best is the transversality of Safari, giving us some very different prehistoric figures, and also the oposite direction of Mojo with the prehistoric mammals specialization! |

I like also very much the new KINTO serie, full of accurate details on classic dinosaurs. At least an allosaurus toy which look like an allosaurus... Look at the differences between the KINTO styracosaurus and the SCHLEICH funny thing And, as usual, KINTO made a stegosaurus with armored throat (o)): |

| Which one of the two Deinotheriums is more realistic. Mojo or CollectA? What do you think? I like both a lot, and I found pictures with shorter and with longer trunks. |

Actually I don't have problems with those trunks, we don't have fossil records of the trunk. Some scientists think about a short trunk and others think deinotherium had a "elephant size" trunk. My personal choice is for the long trunk because I can't see such a beast drinking like a giraffe with his short trunk in water but it is more a matter of taste than anything else. My problem is the neck, in this pic it seems very low and with a weird pose on the COLLECTA deinotherium but I will need to see pics of the real model to tell my two cents. Here are a few skeleton pics.

| I think the CollectA is very detailed and atractive. The only thing I don't like is that the shape of the body doesn't look to fit with the skeleton. Contrarily to most CollectA figures, here the body looks too long for a deinotherium. Maybe the Mojo is closer to a Museum replica because looks more similar to the skeleton shape but both are very interesting and recomendable. I don't know about the size of the trunk but most museum reconstructions continue using the short trunk. So, until new evidences, the image of a deinotherium will continue attached to a short trunked elephant like creature though both options should be correctly considered. |

| About the trunk, the short option is IMHO the new option |
