Thank you for the pics Scott. I also prefer the SAFARI Ltd model, at least from pics, but I hope I will have enough money to catch this one because it is also very nice and I love crowded pinnipeds beach as "Côte d'Azur" seaside resorts |

| Thanks!!! Only if you want... now position the Safari walrus facing in and the CollectA walrus facing in so their faces are closer to each other. No pressure, only if you have the time. Thanks again : ) |

| Just as the CollectA sea lion, I love the CollectA walrus, I think the level of detail is excelent in these sea life figures and that's the reason why I'm getting them once these mammals are not a priority in my collection. Although CollectA is better with detail than with body mass, I think the body is very adjusted for a female, only teeth are a little long but not too long once some females have them very developed. According that the figure interacts with a calf and that this beahviour is attributed to females, I think I am not taking a wrong conclusion. However, I rarely read about these animals, so I would love to have the opinion of some members more used with them. Rogério, I'm not a walrus specialist but, despite I like very much this model which I still don't have, I think there is something odd, not only with the too flat body but with the neck... It seems too thin IMHO, like a juvenile.

Maybe you are right, chest and neck areas are less robuste in females but even the female on picture posted above is more robuste than the figure. :) |
