| A long-eared owl is as common in Europe and Germany as the Eagle owl but IMHO the shape is more Asio than Bubo. Those two birds are so common, HAUSSER ELASTOLIN made both in their Forest serie in the 1970's. Nevertheless, this model have two patterns and the second one is very very Asio otus in my eyes. |

| I think Kiki is right, the figure is probably Asio otus. The eagle owl is rather chubby than elegant and here is my Bully mega-chubby-eagle-owl :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I must say that I also have that figure iddentified as a long eared owl once I agree it fits better than with an eagle owl. Though, as usual at this time, figures were generic representations accidentally fitting with a species. So, it is not a surprise that Bullyland identified the 64351 just as a owl. : |
