First Germany-made Schleich in Ukraine!

Hi, everyone!
Yesterday I went to my traditional mid-Autumn shopping for Schleich and was very surprised to see some “Made in Germany” figures in the store! As I’ve told earlier, only China-made Schleich wildlife figures have been imported to Ukraine, and I didn’t even hope that things could change…
In total there were four German-made models: fox, older raccoon, new swan and mallard duck (there were both German and Chinese ducks). And you know, the magic words “Made in Germany” did a miracle: I’ve bought the fox! :) Me, who always said that the fox is the worst Schleich animal figurine... :) But with the “Made in Germany” marking the fox looked sort of better than usual


By the way, Germany- and China-made mallard ducks have visible differences – not in painting, but in the surface finishing: the German model is more matte, while the Chinese one is more plastic-looking and a bit shiny.

That is a very nice, red-soated fox ! Mine is more like gray

Congratulations on you additions Kirill, and great for you they are made in germany, I love the models I have that are made in Germany, makes them extra special.

Same here - I have special feelings towards my "Made in Germany" items, which are rather scarce.

Yes, I do, but not so actively as before - all of my shelf displays are overcrowded already, plus many figurines in boxes... Almost no room for new stuff.

I know how it feels ! Whow spoiled we are to have that kind of "problem"

What do you think about made in Germany Schleich models (I am talking about painting job)? To me they are looking not as much realistic, as made in China models.
